A Visit from St. Nick

Today was our Preschool Christmas party. We exchanged gifts in our classrooms early this morning. Then at 10:00, we went into the fellowship hall and made a pretty Christmas tree ornament to hang on our Christmas trees at home. We then ate pizza, cupcakes, chips, veggies, fruit, cookies--all kinds of goodies. While we were finishing eating, we heard bells ringing. Can you imagine who that was? Santa!!! He came in and everyone got to sit in his lap and tell him what they wanted for Christmas. Since everyone has been good all year--or tried to be good all year, I am sure Santa will bring lots of goodies on Christmas eve.

We at Little Lights thank all you parents for a wonderful first half of the year, for all the good presents we received today. We wish you a blessed Christmas and a New Year filled with peace, joy, good health, happiness, and love.

Making Gingerbread Houses and Tree Ornaments

Today Lily McPeak's mom, Beth, and her Aunt Jenni came and helped the four year old class make gingerbread houses and Christmas tree ornaments. Then Aunt Jenni read "The Gingerbread Girl" to the class. Thanks Mom and Aunt Jenni. We all really enjoyed the day.

Making Christmas Shirts

The three year old classes made Christmas shirts. Hailey Birdwell's mom came and helped Ms. Pam and Ms. Lori make the shirts. The children's handprints made the antlers of the reindeer. Thanks, Ms. Rhonda for coming to help.

Christmas Angel Tree

This year our preschool sponsored 3 little Christmas angels--a one year old girl, a 2 year old girl, and a 4 year old boy. From the looks of all the things brought in, these children will have a very Merry Christmas. Thanks to everyone who helped us.

Anna Had a Little Lamb

On Tuesday, Anna Powell's Mom and Grandfather brought a little lamb to preschool. We are studying the letter "L" this week. Each Preschooler got to pet the little Ram Lamb. We thank Anna's family for taking the time to bring the lamb for all of us to enjoy.

Christmas Program

Wasn't Sunday night's Christmas program wonderful? Each preschooler did a fantastic job. We are so proud of each one of them.

Practicing With Costumes

Today was our first day to practice in our costumes. It only took us about 30 minutes to dress everyone, then another 30 minutes to practice. They are so adorable. Please tell your family and friends to come see these children on Sunday night.
