Mama Driver Comes to Visit Us

Mama Driver came on Tuesday and told us a story about a rodeo. Every four year old was a part of the rodeo story. We all enjoyed being a part of the story. Then she held the flag as we said the pledge of allegiance. We love when Ms. Driver visits, and look forward to her coming again next year.

Ms. Alice Is Retiring

Our favorite librarian, Ms. Alice will be retiring in May and moving to Atlanta. She has been so good to Little Lights, always letting us come down and reading to us. We visited with her last Thursday. She read is a book about the alphabet. Each class took her a poster with every child's handprint on it, and also we made her cards, and gave her a book to remember us by. Ms. Alice, we want you to know that we love you and will miss you, but know you will enjoy your retirement very much.

Four Year Class Easter Pictures

The four year class has been learning the real meaning of Easter for several weeks. We have used the eggs to tell the story of Jesus' death, burial, and Resurrection. They know what each egg stands for, especially the last one, the empty one.

We also enjoyed the Easter egg hunt. We visited with the Easter bunny, then lined up inside to go outside for the hunt. Waiting on the fence was so hard to do. There were so many eggs "hidden" on the grass. Everyone went home with a big basket of eggs.

Graduation

We are getting ready for graduation. Can you believe it, parents? This is our class picture, and our graduation picture. I love the picture where they are throwing their hats in the air. If you want to order any pictures, a 5 x 7 is $5.00, or 2 for $8.00. 8 x 10's are $8.00 each.

Three Year Class Happenings

The three year olds really enjoyed their Easter Egg Hunt last Thursday. We first ate our favorite meal of chicken nuggets and fries. Then we went outside where many eggs were hidden. Everyone went home with a basket of eggs filled with goodies.

The other pictures are Spring Class Pictures. If you wish to order one, they are $5.00 each for a 5 x 7 or 2 for $8.00. An 8 x 10 is $8.00.

I am really impressed with the work that these two classes are doing. They are going to be ready for the four year class next year. We have 24 enrolled in the four year class for next year and Ms. Lori, Ms. Nell, and I are looking forward to working with them. Ms. Pam will continue to do a fantastic job with the three year olds next year.

Graduation Pictures

Today was picture day, and the four year class put on their caps and gowns and had their graduation pictures made. Can you believe it? Graduation is just about 5 weeks away. We also made a couple of silly pictures, and a silly video, which we will share with you---just a preview of what is to come.

Ms.Becky Reads and We Make Volcanos

Last week was "V" week. We made volcanos. First, Ms. Paulette made one, then we each did our own science experiment and made one. It was lots of fun.

Ms. Becky also came last week and read a story to us. Then she sang with us "My God is So Big". We always enjoy when Ms. Becky comes. Thanks Ms. Becky.
