Grandparent's Day

Tuesday was Grandparent's Day at Little Lights. Everyone had at least one Grandparent, Great-Grandparent, or Honorary Grandparent attend. We went into the auditorium and had a program. Ms. Pam's class sang several songs and said a Nursery Rhyme. Everyone especially enjoyed the "Bumblebee" song. The four year class led in the Pledge of Allegience, and sang several songs. Seth led us in his favorite song, "I Had A Little Turtle." Everyone then went down to the Fellowship Hall and enjoyed lunch. We appreciate all the grandparents who attended.

Little Lights and Ms. Julia and Rascal

Little Lights enjoyed Ms. Julia Haun and her dog Rascal on Thursday. Rascal showed us many tricks. Thanks, Ms. Julia.

Star Students for September 1-3

Star Students for the week of September 1-3 are Izzy Russo and Seth Lamberson in the four year class, and Lucas Summers in the three year class. Congratulations.

Rascal Comes to Visit

Ms. Julia Haun brought her dot Rascal to show us his tricks. We enjoyed him very much. Thanks, Ms. Julia and Rascal. Rascal is praying in the picture.

Buddy Bear Day

On Thursday, September 3, we celebrated the letter B by bringing our favorite Buddy Bear.

Star Students for August 25-27

Samantha Lausier and Brice Fountain were Star Students for the week of August 25-27. Congratulations.

We are waiting for pickup in the afternoon. This new plan seems to be working very well.

Wilson Bank and Trust Savings Club

Every month, Wilson Bank and Trust has a Savings Club that our Preschoolers can join. They bring their money, and it is deposited into their savings account. Ms. Johanna Summers, Lucas' mom came on August 27 to take deposits. Dakota Mathis won the $5.00 drawing. Also pictured is Bethany Luttrell.

Ms. Lindaey Comes to Read and Sing

Ms. Lindsey Barnes, Zachary's mom, will be coming every month to read and sing with us. This is her first visit on August 27. Thanks, Ms. Lindsey, we had a great time.

Ms. Pam's Class

I caught Ms. Pam's class just getting up from their nap one day. Here they are sitting on the run. Ms. Pam has 7 little boys and 1 littls girl this year.

August Birthdays and Star Students for Four Year Old Class

We had lots of birthdays in August in the four year class. We already had Owen's picture and Presley's birthday picture on the blog. Chloe also had an August birthday, as did Kayla. Ms. Nell and Ms. Paulette celebrated birthdays in August. Chloe and Kayla turned four, but we're going to keep the others a secret.

Star Students for the week of August 18-20 were Bethany Luttrell and Dakota Mathis. It is hard to choose a Star Student, because we have so many STARS. Congratulations to Bethany and Dakota.
