We want to thank Ms. Debbie and Mr. James at the Depot Junction for having this fundraiser for Little Lights. They are Kaitlyn and Davin's grandparents and are very supportive of our preschool. We sold about 50 pizzas Thursday night.

October is Fire Prevention Month

Stop, Drop, Roll--this is what we learned we should do if something on us is burning. On Thursday, October 1, Blake Haun and Edward Brooks from the Watertown Fire Dept. came and gave a great demonstration. Fireman Brooks put on the protective gear a fireman wears, and most of the preschoolers shook hands with him. Then, we went outside and got to see the fire truck and sit in the driver's seat. Thanks to John Jewell and all the Watertown Fire Dept for all you do for Watertown.

Birthdays and Star Students for October 1

Bethany turned 5 on October 1. The Star Students for this week were Hadlee Lamberson, and Preslee Lamberson for the four year olds, and Davin Trusty for the three year class. Congratulations.

A, E, I, O, U Are Vowels

The four year class are learning their vowels. Many have already earned their "teeth" by saying their vowels. Here, Hadlee, Bethany, and Ms. Paulette show off their teeth. Zachary Barnes, who also has his teeth, made the picture. Good job, Zachary.

Officer Woods Reads for Imagination Library Week

Officer Woods from the Watertown Police Dept. came on September 24, to read to celebrate Books from Birth Week. He read a very interesting book to the preschoolers, and then answered many, many questions from the children. We are looking forward to having him return for a Halloween safety talk.

Birthdays for September and Ms. Lindsey Reads

September birthdays for the four year class include Hadlee and Preslee Lamberson, and Brice Fountain. Also, Ms. Lindsey came and read on the fourth Thursday. Thanks, Ms. Lindsey.
